ClubHouse Hotel & Suites Receives George S. Mickelson Great Service Award

Last Thursday was an exciting day for Regency Hotel Management as South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard and the Department of Tourism presented the George S. Mickelson Great Service Award to the Club House Hotel & Suites in Sioux Falls. Many industry leaders were recognized during the South Dakota Governor’s Conference on Tourism in Pierre.

The George S. Mickelson Great Service Award honors "businesses, communities, or organizations that have done an exemplary job of exceeding visitors’ expectations in customer service." The Akta Lakota Museum at Saint Joseph’s Indian School in Chamberlain also received the award.

"Both of these businesses are creating positive experiences for our visitors through proper staff training, unique staff recognition, and emphasizing pride in their performance,” the governor said. “We are grateful for their continued commitment to customer satisfaction."

"We are honored and thrilled to have received this award," said Val Carman, general manager of the ClubHouse Hotel & Suites, Sioux Falls. "We celebrated our 11th anniversary this year; from day one, second to none has been the criteria by which we work! We are blessed to have wonderful, loyal associates and guests!"
